I am the common denominator
In this equation
It is a title that I
Freely give out.

I am the common denominator
And yet I find myself searching
For someone to blame
I find myself here too often
And yet I cannot find a way
To blame me

Maybe I see
That it is me
That it is my fault
But I do not see
How

So I am the common denominator
And the question is not who, but how.
